the 5th wave

at the time of the 5th wave book, Cassie recently got shot in the uper leg and she rolled under a car next to her which is exactly what happens in the movie too, but the book went in more detail, like when Cassie new she was going into shock from the bullet wound and how she had no movement under the car and how she couldn't think what to do because she was going into shock, but she did do something somewhat smart and that was cover up the wound with a bit of cloth, Cassie was wondering when the person who shot her was going to show up but then she realised it must of been some sort of sniper which is what happens in the movie as well

The main hero in the 5th wave would be Cassie, although she hasn't done anything heroic she has looked after her self through the 3 waves that have come which can be a hard task when you have had no experience with survival, there is no main villain at this time of the book, but we have herd of the aliens called the others which look exactly like the average human which obviously a big problem because you don't know who to trust as Cassie said to her self when she saw the man in the gas station.

so far the way the book has been represented its different to the movie, the book seems to have flash backs to when Cassie/main character was a normal kid living her normal life and then it goes back to reality which is where wave 1,2, and 3 have already struck and she is soon waiting for the 4th wave

Cassie thinks that before the invasion came, the Cassie was a hole different person compared to the person she is now, Cassie in reality also always carry's a M16 rifle and she said its her best friend but she hasn't shot anything bigger than a rabbit, and she recently found a man at a gas station which Cassie goes to once a week to get supplies.

Burning Magnesium

Today at science class we set Magnesium (Mg) on fire and if you leave it in long enough it goes really bright.

• An element is made of only one type of atom
• Mg+O2 =MgO
• A compound is a substance made of 2 or more elements chemically joined together.

Silver solid + Transparent gas.

If you try to do this experiment wear safety glasses (if you do not wear safety glasses you will have a chance of being blinded).
